Welcome to ACC Preschool!

in Class Activities...Teaching to the class...The purpose of ACC Preschool is to provide quality early childhood education, loving care in a warm, Christ-centered environment serving Anacortes, Oak Harbor, Whidbey Island, Island County, and Skagit County in Washington State. We believe each child is created by God as a special, unique person. We recognize that the development of the child is an individual process. We offer a stimulating and encouraging learning environment where each child can experience success. Individual and small group activities are provided daily.

We are excited about the new and challenging activities we have planned for the upcoming school year. The children will enjoy a variety of special projects to help them grow in preschool and prepare them for Kindergarten. Some of the skills we will focus on are:

  • Cognitive: staying on task, sequencing, reproducing, patterning, and numbers.
  • Self-expression: oral, written, musical, and movement
  • Social: cooperation with peers, courtesy, and relationship building
  • Motor: large and small motor skills, gross and fine motor movement
  • Reading readiness: alphabet recognition and phonemic awareness

Classes run daily as follows:

  • 4-5 yr. old 5 day Kindergarten Prep 9am-1pm
  • 4-5 yr. old 3 day Kindergarten Prep 9am-1pm
  • 3 yr. old 2 day Preschool Program 9:00am-11:30am

Note: A $75.00 non-refundable registration fee will reserve your child’s placement in one of the above classes.
